last classes for 2008 are THIS week!!!

Happy Day!!!

It has been an amazing year! I'm a little sad to see it go, my last full year in San Francisco (at least for a while).

But, I'm almost done with Ph.D. applications, and if all goes well I'll be leaving next July, after another trip to Copenhagen to teach a men's yoga workshop at the OutGames, and some classes at Hamsa Yoga, in my favorite city that isn't San Francisco...

I've been toying with the idea of doing a retreat somewhere in Europe -- Denmark if possible -- in July or August, so let me know if you're interested, or if you know of a great location! It'd be a great way to end this phase of life, as the new one begins!

That said, I've been working really hard getting the last of the applications finished, and I've still got the GRE next Monday, but I've decided to take a long Winter's break after that, and really settle into the Solstice and the New Year peacefully. Yoga, more yoga, sleep, and good food. And family: I am truly blessed with great relationships with my mother and my brother, and I'm going to spend some time with them over the holidays!

So: my last class of 2008 will be THIS Sunday, 8-11am at James Howell Studio. PLEASE COME!!!

Classes at James Howell Studio will resume on January 4th (and there'll be no subs at JH).

Grace Cathedral will have a slightly longer break after tonight's class -- which will be in the Quire -- as the Yale Glee Club will be performing on the first Wednesday in January. Grace Yoga will resume on January 14th.

Moving into the New Year, I'm going to be teaching several classes in the Yoga Tree Teacher Training, and Grey is now officially assisting :) but if anyone else is interested in coming to those classes, the first one is on January 3rd, the day before classes at James Howell resume. Let me know!!!
